~ THESE DAYS, we’re so used to the bigotry of low expectations for Muslims, this sort of thing hardly raises an eyebrow. The hateful and dehumanizing Sheik Akrama Sabri (Grand Mufti Of Jerusalem, no less.. a notable position) gets a free pass these days– it’s diversity™.
Wife? Rape? Shrugsies. They’re just Muslim women, right? Sub-human walking genitals in bags of cloth.
You might reasonably say OK, this guy has disgusting ideas: he’s just one guy. Wait for it: Controversial Afghan marital law under attack… defender? Allegedly ‘democratic’ Prime Minister Karzai. Here’s more on Afghanistan’s proposed Shi’a family law. It’s good Islam, folks.
Read your history– starting with Mohammad, and looking down the years to the present day, it would seem that the third-class status of women as a basic principle is at the heart of Islam. After all, old Mo’ himself had 60+ wives and concubines (a.k.a. sex-slaves). He advocated beatings, and set out the other basic principles of Islamic sexism and misogyny. So the nasty is all the way back on mistreating the fairer sex.
Christianity, though, is the real criminal when it comes to women, right. Even though the equality of women in the West is the greatest ever enjoyed by the fairer sex, and based on the best of Roman Law, Greek thought, and Biblical teaching: “Male & female created he them,” and from Paul to The Galatians:
“You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”
Islam? Not so much: you got yer believers, and yer unbelievers. Period.

Where are the ‘Moderate’ Muslims? How many are there, actually– and how many radicals just like the term to self-define and hide behind? Where is the overwhelming voice of protest against this Islamic law and mindset? Liberal Muslims Tarek Fatah and Salim Mansour and other good folk seem to be in such a tiny minority that despite their considerable voice and outlook, they do not represent truly Islam here, or at home.
How much is this sort of thing happening in Canada and other Western antions? Where are the comfy middle-class feminist hordes?.. or are they, too, like the remainder of the politically correct, actually terrified of potential Muslim violence, and would prefer to keep disassembling Christian civilization instead. Is 50% of the Islamic wold simply gonna have to sit down and shut up because they’re brown and in lands with barbaric principles?
Our supposed liberals stand self-condemned by their general silence and cowardice.
